Initially we had planned on funding only two projects: one to get the music to our
deployed troops (honoring the initial 2005 vision) and another to bless the families of our
fallen.  And yes, these two projects are still in process (some details follow below.)  

HOWEVER, GOD HAD OTHER PLANS.  Because doors have unexpectedly opened to
bring comfort and Christ to our wounded heroes both in the Washington, D.C. area
and elsewhere, in faith we have begun gifting copies of Ascend In Worship, STAND UP,
Walk On Water and The Tree wherever there has been need.  (Primarily we have been
working with representatives of charities who serve these wounded warriors and/or I
have been handing them out at the facilities personally.)  God is faithful!  To date we
have received donations sufficient to cover the cost of what we have given.  So far there
have been two trips to Washington, D.C. - one over 9/11/07 and a second over
Veteran's Day weekend.  The music has been very well received!  In addition, a new
contact has been made with a group who sends packages to our newly wounded at the
hospital in Landstuhl, Germany.  Initial copies of the materials have been sent in a few of
their boxes as a starting point in December 2007.  

The new Scripture Soaking Bible study, TIME WITH GOD Worth Your Time? is being
tested with several wounded and I am continuing to conduct the day retreat, "Spiritual
Spa: Exfoliating Worry" as a gift for groups of military families who request it.

The first gift packages have been forwarded to families of the fallen.  The package
includes a special letter, a copy of The Tree and Walk On Water.  (If you know of a
family who has lost someone in the War On Terror who would benefit from one of these

In addition, currently, contacts are being developed to begin conducting retreats for the
wounded, their families and Gold Star families (those who have had a family member die
in the war).  This retreat will be centered around the new Scripture Soaking Bible study
FINDING PURPOSE, placed between times of worship.  The focus is to help individuals
understand God's purpose, then find new hope by finding their purpose in God's
purpose and learn to listen for God's voice.

Whenever the door opens we are also ready to begin teaching our troops the POWer of
Worship using both ASCEND In WORSHIP and WALK On WATER Cds and the POWer
of Worship booklet.  This will begin to bring to fulfillment the original vision from the Lord
in 2005 to get both the worship music and STAND UP to our deployed troops.

Of course, we also are always on the look out for opportunities to ship more copies of
the music and written materials to our troops and their families.  Please pray whether you
are called to help sponsor these projects by your donation.

And there is an exciting new project still only in its initial stages for the families of our
wounded and Gold Star families.  Its too early to release any details.  Suffice to say it will
be a weekend getaway filled with worship, teaching and fellowship
